The Indianapolis Colts are making all kinds of roster moves these days. Yesterday, they brought in Trent Richardson from the Cleveland Browns to help in the running game and today they called up WR prospect Da’Rick Rogers from the practice squad.
Rogers was one of the more intriguing prospects that was left undrafted. He was first picked up by the Buffalo Bills, but they passed on his services and the Colts gave him a chance. Now he will be on the 53-man roster.
Rogers was a teammate of Cordarelle Patterson and Justin Hunter in Tennessee and finished his college career at Tennessee Tech after he failed multiple drug tests. He has always had the talent, but some team had to be willing to develop him and look passed the drug test violations. He gets his opportunity now.
