Broncos Champ Bailey Will Not Play Tonight

The Denver Broncos are giving Champ Bailey another week to rest. He will not be activated today for the game against the Oakland Raiders.

Bailey returned to practice on Thursday. He suffered a strained foot during training camp and has been sidelined ever since. He has been limited in practice.

Chris Harris has been starting in place for Bailey and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is at the other starting corner position.

The Broncos are going to take their time with Bailey and make sure that he is healthy for the end of the season. They want to make sure that he is there and healthy for the playoffs. That will be much more important than a Monday Night game against the Oakland Raiders.
