Former Browns QB Bernie Kosar Arrested

Former Cleveland Browns QB Bernie Kosar was arrested this morning and is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Kosar was pulled over for speeding at 2:42 in the morning and officers smelled alcohol in the vehicle. He took sobriety test and was taken into the police department .

Kosar was the only person in the car.

Kosar played for the Browns for 9 seasons, from 1985 to 1993. He became the team’s starter in his rookie season and took Cleveland to the AFC Championship Game 3 times. He also made the Pro Bowl as the starter in Cleveland.

He struggled with injuries later in his career and was released in 1993.
