Titans QB Jake Locker Injury Update: Could Miss 4-8 Weeks

Tennessee Titans QB Jake Locker left yesterday’s game with on a cart and was off to the hospital after taking a big time hit from Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson in the 3rd quarter. He had a hip injury of some sort, but had to stay overnight for evaluation.

It seems like Locker will be out for some time. The team has reported that he could miss between 4-8 weeks for recovery. The team is still awaiting the results for some tests and will receiver a better diagnosis on recovery time. The team believes that there is no hip dislocation though.

That is a tough break for the Titans. Locker was getting into a groove this season and then he has a long recovery process. He has led the Titans to a 3-1 record and has not turned the ball over once this season.

Before Locker was injured, he completed 18 of 24 passes for 149 yards and 3 touchdowns.

With Locker out, the Titans will turn to Ryan Fitzpatrick to go under center. Expect a few more turnovers with Fitzpatrick chucking the ball around.
