Tennesee Titans QB Jake Locker was carted off the field and into the locker room after suffering an injury to his right hip. The Titans won 38-13 against the New York Gets on Sunday, but lost their starting quarterback.
Ian Rapoport has reported that Locker has been taken to the hospital for further tests on his hip and will spend the night for observation.
Titans head coach Mike Munchak did say that Locker did not need an emergency surgery for his visit and that Locker did not dislocate his hip.
Locker was knocked to the ground in the 3rd quarter by Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson. Locker landed funny and laid on the floor still while trainers looked him over.
Ryan Fitzpetrick came in as the backup at quarterback and would likely be the starter if Locker were to miss any significant time.
We will keep you updated as we hear word on the progress of Jake Locker.
