Jets WR Santonio Holmes Injury Update: Out A Few Weeks

New York Jets WR Santonio Holmes left Sunday’s game early with a hamstring injury. He limped off of the field in the 4th quarter of the game against the Tennessee Titans.

Holmes is expected to miss a few weeks with the injury and the team is signing former Buffalo Bills WR David Nelson to help with the team’s depth at wide receier.

Holmes has had a history of injuries during his time with the Jets. He missed most of the 2012 season with a Lisfranc injury. Holmes has 10 catches for 243 yards and a touchdow in the first 4 games of the season.
