49ers LB Patrick Willis Likely To Return vs Texans

San Francisco 49ers LB Patrick Willis did not participate in the game last week against the St. Louis Rams on Thursday because of groin injury. It would have been tough for him to get back on the field after suffering the injury on a Sunday and then playing on Thursday.

He has 19 tackles this season and is expected to return to the field against the Houston Texans on Sunday Night. TAt least that is the news that we are getting from Justin Smith. Justin Smith is no doctor, but he possibly did stay at a Holiday Inn last night.

It would be good to have Willis on the field to return touchdown intervceptions against Matt Schaub. Also he can help slow down that Houston Texans run game with Arian Foster and Ben Tate.

Jim Harbaugh feels that Willis will be back on the field also for Sunday. Definitely some good news for the San Francisco 49ers defense. Not great news for Matt Schaub and the Texans.
