Denver Broncos LB Danny Trevathan suffered a knee injury during practice today and had to leave the practice field on a cart to be evaluated. He had an MRI after practice and they returned negative. The Broncos defense were able to escape that scare unscathed. It still is not known if Travathan will be able to participate this week against the Dallas Cowboys. We will watch the practice report the next couple of days to see his status for the game.
Trevathan is the starting weakside linenbacker for the Broncos and has been doing a tremendous job for the team’s defense. He has been great against the run and has been able to hang with opposing team’s tight ends. He has 30 tackles this season and a sack.
If Trevathan is unable to play this weekend, the Broncos will likely roll with Steven Johnson at the weakside linebacker spot. Stay tuned to see the status of the Broncos linebacker.
