Broncos CB Champ Bailey Will Miss 5th Straight Game

Denver Broncos CB Champ Bailey has been a non-factor for the first 4 games of the season and he will be sitting on the sideline in game 5 as well. Champ Bailey has been recovering from a foot injury and will get another day to rest it.

There is no reason to rush Bailey back onto the field with the team playing the way they have been playing. The Broncos will be on the road to take on the Dallas Cowboys and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie will take on the responsibility of being the top corner for the Broncos.

Cowboys WRs Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams don’t mind having Bailey resting for another week. That just means that they can get a little more time to get open.

Bailey is getting closer and closer to returning, but he might as well take that extra time to rest that foot while the team is holding onto an undefeated record and looking dominant. Having Bailey at full strength for the playoffs will be clutch.
