The Oakland Raiders have released QB Matt Flynn today. Is that surprising to anyone? There is no reason to keep an overpaid quarterback on the roster for no reason. He started one game for the Raiders and was immediately dropped to 3rd string the next day and now has been dropped off of the roster in the following week.

Flynn came to the Raiders with the thoughts of becoming the team’s starter, but he lost that job to Terrelle Pryor and showed that he cannot get the ball out to his receivers. He was wasting away on the Raiders bench and was wasted dollars on the cap.

I don’t even know if Flynn will pick up another job after this release, but he has fooled a few teams already to steal money out of their wallets, I am sure he can find a few more suckers to think that he can be a backup quarterback for them. Let’s see if anyone gives him a shot.

Sorry Matt “sacks” Flynn but rather see you take sacks for someone else.
