New York Giants RB David Wilson is getting a second opinion on his neck injury. The injury seems to be serious. Usually when a player goes in for a second opinion, it means that the first opinion wasn’t very positive and they need someone to confirm that injury.

There is no way that I can see Wilson playing on Thursday against the Chicago Bears. I just wonder how long it will take for that neck injury to heal. He could be out for some time to gain the strength back in his neck.

Wilson was injured on Sunday’s game against the Eagles and didn’t return to the field.

With Wilson on the sideline, the Giants will use Da’Rel Scott and Brandon Jacobs to share the work load inthe back field. Having those guys back there with Eli Manning, must not give Eli any more confidence to sling it out to his receivers. The Giants are hurting in all kinds of ways right now. Someone has to step up and make plays.
