Falcons WR Julio Jones Foot Injury Tied To 2011 Injury

A source has told National Football Post’s Jason Cole that Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones‘ foot injury is linked to his foot injury that he had 2011 surgery to correct. The source says that the screw that was in the foot was broke. That is crazy talk.

That can’t be good news for Julio Jones and his status for this season and possibly something that could linger around even longer. Jones’ status for the season has already been questioned. He may be out for the rest of the year with the foot injury. We will know more and more as the week goes on, but the Falcons have their BYE week coming up and a possible move to the IR could possibly be coming a little later.

Jones has 41 receptions this season for a total of 580 yards and 2 touchdowns. Roddy White is also a possibility to miss some time with a hamstring and ankle injury. The Falcons are in a tough spot.
