49ers CB Nnamdi Asomugha Likely To Be Healthy Inactive.

San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Vic Fangio suggested that CB Nnamdi Asomugha could be listed on the incactive list as a healthy inactive for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. Tramiane Brock has stepped in at the nickel role and there is no reason to have Asomugha active for games at this time.

I am not sure why the 49ers even keep Nnamdi on the roster at this point. Why would you want to keep a 32-year-old corner on the sideline for game days. When Eric Wright gets activated, we could see a roster move with Nnamdi Asomugha.

I am sure there will be some interest for the services of Asomugha if he is out in the open market. I don’t know a reason why the 49ers would want to keep him when Wright returns to the field. Wright could be returning to the field soon. It only makes sense that Nnamdi will be on the streets soon.
