Kansas City Chiefs LB Justin Houston was back on the practice field on Thursday after sitting out of practice on Wednesday. His status for the game on Sunday against the Oakand Raiders still is in question though. He still has not received clearance to play on Sunday.

Houston took a hit to his head and neck on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. On Wednesday, Houston did not have any symptoms of a concussion and but the team seems to be handling the situation with caution.

Losing Houston for any amount of time will hurt the Kansas City defense. He was named the defensive player of the month for September, recording 7.5 sacks in the opening month of the season.

The Chiefs will need to contain Terrelle Pryor on defense. Pryor has the ability to make plays happen outside of the pocket and Houston would be a perfect player to have on the field to bring him down.

The Chiefs defense has a lot of talent though, so they should be able to still play well without him in there.
