It was reported earlier in the day that Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson may not participate in practice at all this week, but he quickly put those plans to rest when he joined in on some positional drills today with a brace on his injured right knee. He was very limited in practice, but he did join the rest of the squad. That has to be some good news for the Lions and Johnson. Johnson will likely be a game time decision again this weekend against the Cleveland Browns. He was a surprise scratch last weekend against the Packers and fans will have to wait till game time to know if he will be out on the playing field.

If Johnson is unable to play, it will be a huge impact for the Lions offense. They don’t have any receivers for Matt Stafford to get the ball out to and Stafford would have to trust in his tight ends and running backs more than he would like.
