Bears LB D.J. Williams Could Have Season Ending Injury

Chicago Bears LB D.J. Williams left Thursday Night’s game against the New York Giants in the 3rd quarter with an injury. He was hurt while trying to tackle the truck Brandon Jacobs.

The injury appears to be serious as head coach Mark Trestman says that it could be season ending. Williams has a pectoral muscle injury and the team is evaluating him now.

With Williams out of the game, rookie LB Jon Bostic took the snaps for Williams and will likely be the starter with Williams out of the game. Williams has played in all 6 games for the Bears and has 27 tackles and a couple of sacks.

We will keep an eye on the situation and keep you updated on the status for the Bears middle linebacker. IT is going to be a tough blow for the Bears, but it will be a chance for the rookie to get some experience in the middle. He is the future at the position.
