Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson has been slowed down with a shin injury and hasn’t been able to get much work done this week, but he feels better and thinks that he thinks that he will be able to play this weekend against the St. Louis Rams (Tania Ganguli). He missed a lot of Thursday’s practice resting the injury.

Johnson is a tough player and will do what he can to get on the field. The Texans need him on offense. They are already without TE Owen Daniels for a good amount of time and missing Johnson on the sideline would be difficult for Matt Schaub and the rest of the passing game.

Schaub already has his troubles throwing the football out to his receivers, he doesn’t need more of his playmakers sitting in a baseball cap on the sideline. The fans are already all over Schaub’s butt and giving him crap for throwing all those pick-sixes. Having Johnson on the field will definitely help him get out of the funk.
