The Bengals have defeated Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots and Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers already this season. Now they are facing off against Thad Lewis and the Buffalo Bills this weekend. The Bengals defense has been strong in those wins. Thad has a tough defense that he has to go up against.
Where: Ralph Wilson Stadium, Buffalo, NY
When: October 13, 2013, 1:00 p.m. ET
Live Stream: NFL Sunday Ticket, Game Rewind
Bengals Player to Watch: A.J. Green
A.J. Green looked like he was going to have a breakout season in week 1 when he caught nine passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns. He hasn’t been able to have that type of production since. Green has 199 yards in the last four games. He is one of the elite receivers in the league, but teams are focusing on him and he has not been able to break free.
Bills Player to Watch: Fred Jackson
Fred Jackson has been the top running back for the Bills this season. C.J. Spiller was supposed to take over this season, but he has not been able to have that breakout season so far. Jackson has 309 yards rushing so far this season and 4 touchdowns.
Matchup to Watch: Thad Whats-his-name vs the Bengals Defense
Thad Lewis is running the show for the Bills and it will be his second start of his career. He will be going up against a defense that is holding opponents to 17.4 points a game, which is good for 7th best in the league. Good luck Thad.
The Bills are in a tough spot with their quarterback position. They will be going up against a tough defense and I can’t see Thad Lewis pulling it out against the Bengals.
