All eyes are on Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson out in Cleveland. He has been warming up this morning and did some ladder drills and now he is running deep routes with Matthew Stafford. All signs are pointing on him playing today against the Cleveland Browns.

Johnson did not participate in the Lions loss last week because of a knee injury. He was able to participate in practice a little bit this week and it looks like he is going to get on the field against the Browns.

There still is no official word on his status, but by judging on his action on the field, it looks like he is preparing to play some football.

Through 4 games, Calvin Johnson has 312 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns. Without him in the lineup last weekend, Stafford had to rely on his tight ends and running backs out of the backfield more often and the Lions struggled to move the ball down the field.

I am sure that Cleveland fans wouldn’t mind if he rested for one more week.
