The Pittsburgh Steelers lost their newly acquired tackle Levi Brown before the game. He must have been a little too excited in pregame warm ups because he appears to have injured his right arm during pregame drills.
Brown was acquired by the Steelers during the BYE week and has yet to play a game for the Steelers. He was supposed to serve as a backup at tackle today and eventually could work his way into the starting lineup. THe Steelers already deactivated Mike Adams before the game, so Guy Whimper is the backup tackle now that Brown is unable to play.
Brown suffered a triceps injury. That is the same injury that caused him to miss the entire 2012 season. It could be more bad news for their offensive line and for Ben Roethlisberger. They just can’t seem to get anything to go their way this year.
What a waste of a trade for the Steelers if Brown has to sit out for the rest of the year. The Steelers better scout out Jadeveon Clowney when they get a chance.
