Packers WR Randall Cobb Expected To Miss 6-8 Weeks

More details on the timeline for Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb’s injury are surfacing. The latest info lists that Cobb will be out for 6-8 weeks with a fractured fibula, per Tyler Dunne. He still will be back later in the season, but that is a long time to be out and who knows what to expect from him when he returns.

James Jones also suffered an injury in the game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, but he could be back this week to play. He will be needed with Cobb out for a good amount of time. The depth for the Packers at wide receiver is going to be tested. Jones will start along side of Jordy Nelson and Jarrett Boykin will see a lot more playing time.

I still expect the Packers to make a move for a receiver this week. The team just needs some depth at the position. Someone is going to have to step up with the absence of Cobb from the lineup.
