Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb was placed on the IR list with the designation to return. He will be out for 6 to 8 weeks with a broken leg. Cobb was injured this Sunday in the game against the Baltimore Ravens when rookie safety Matt Elam hit him low.

With Cobb out, the Packers will have to rely on Jordy Nelson even more and also get the ball to James Jones. Jarrett Boykin will get a lot more playing time with Cobb off of the roster now and the Packers will have to bring in someone for more depth at the receiver position.

The Packers have not made a roster move yet for a new receiver. Some believe that Myles White will be signed off of the practice squad, but the team may want to look through free agency to bring more experience on the roster. What is Donald Driver doing again?

Cobb could be back in Week 15 of the season and would be available for the playoffs.
