Lions WR Calvin Johnson Injury Update

Good news for the Detroit Lions today, as WR Calvin Johnson is out on the practice field today. He entered the game Sunday against the Cleveland Browns with a knee injury and he said that the knee was sore after the game:

“He was sore after the game, he’s been sore after practice,’’ coach Jim Schwartz said on Monday. “It’s too soon to really know if it’s any worse or any better than it’s been. I said it was encouraging that he was able to get on the field even though he didn’t make a lot of plays.’’ – Macomb Daily

It looks like it wasn’t too bad if he is able to get out on the practice field. Johnson didn’t have an outstanding performance on Sunday, making 3 catches for 25 yards and he dropped a couple of balls as well. The injury is likely bugging him a little bit, but I am sure that he will be back on the field this weekend against the Cincinnati Bengals giving it his all.
