Ravens LB Jameel McClain Says He Is Ready To Play

Baltimore Ravens LB Jameel McClain believes that he is ready to get back on the football field. He is going to get onto the practice field today, but his status for Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers is not clear. I would guess that he would take some time to get into playing shape.

McClain was on the PUP list to start the season and was eligible to start practicing this week after sitting out the first 6 weeks of the season. The Ravens have done alright in the middle of the defense with Daryl Smith, Josh Byrnes and Arthur Brown. McClain will only help the team in the middle.

McClain finished the Super Bowl season with 78 tackles for the Ravens defense. We will keep an eye on his status throughout practice this week. It would be nice to have him out there against the Steelers.

The Steelers have been playing awful this year, but I am sure that they will be on top of their game for the division matchup.
