Tennessee Titans QB Jake Locker is getting closer and closer to joining the team. He has been cleared for contact.
He returned to practice on Wednesday and was back on the practice field again on Thursday. Now that he has been cleared for contact, the next step would be getting back on the field for Sunday.
With Locker out of the lineup, the Titans have used Ryan Fitzpatrick as the starter and the team has struggled to bring in wins. Locker injured his hip and knee against the New York Jets in week 4 and has not been able to practice since this week.
Titans head coach Mike Munchak still has not ruled out Locker for this weekend, but it would make more sense for him to return after the team’s week 8 BYE week.
