Johnny Manziel Cracks Mel Kiper's Big Board

Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel cracked his way onto Mel Kiper’s big board for the first time and was ranked in at number 20 on the list. Here is what Kiper had to say about Manziel:

Quibble all you want with his average arm strength, height or even some of the offseason decision-making, but you can’t deny Manziel’s gifts on the field. And he doesn’t just beat up weak competition, either. He’ll beat any defense. He extends plays with his legs, does a fantastic job of scanning the whole field, has tremendous touch and would deliver strikes with more velocity if he kept his feet underneath him consistently. I think he’s also underrated in his willingness to make the right throw over always going for the big play. The highlights are surrounded by a lot of smart plays. And can we all remember this is still just a redshirt sophomore? – ESPN

Manziel is a playmaker. That is what you will get from him. He will make a play and make things happen with the football. He can run and create time and he will find a receiver open. He will sell tickets for some team in the NFL soon.
