Tennessee Titans QB Jake Lockers is expected to take the field this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. Locker was having a tremendous start to the season. He had led the team to a 3-1 record in his first 4 games. He had thrown for 721 yards and 6 scores and no turnovers. He also had rushed for 98 yards and a score.
Locker was injured earlier this season in week 4 against the New York Jets. He had been taken off in a cart after injuring his hip and knee.
Locker will now lead the team against the San Francisco 49ers tough defense. He will have the home crowd behind him and will look to get the Titans some “W’s” again. The Titans have not won since he has been out. Ryan Fitzpatrick took over the starting duties with Locker on the sideline and couldn’t get the team wins.
Locker is back and the offense should be better off because of it. Look for Locker to have a decent performance against the 49ers on Sunday.
