It is official. New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski is active for the game and will see his first action against the New York Jets.

Gronkowski should be a huge boost for the Patriots offense, especially in the red zone. Let’s see if he is on a limited snap count for his return or if he is in the game for a majority of the snaps.

Gronkowski will be a big target for Tom Brady and the offense. He should get a lot of looks and will open up the field for other players on offense. He will help out the running game with his blocking and should be a force even if he is not targeted with the football.

Gronkowski is back. Should be fun to see that Gronk Spike for the first time and to see him celebrating with the boys in the end zone. Time for Gronk to make his impact for this season. The Patriots just became a stronger team with his presence on the field.
