Texans LB Brian Cushing Leaves Game With Left leg Injury

Houston Texans LB Brian Cushing left the game early with a left leg injury in the 3rd quarter and the injury looked bad. He was helped off of the field and didn’t put any weight on his leg and then was taken to the locker room on a cart. He looked like he was in significant pain on the ground after he went down. Cushing went down after he was cut blocked by Jamaal Charles as he was coming in for a blitz.

The injury to Cushing is to the same left knee that he injured last season. Cushing tore his ACL last season and missed the entire season after he went down. It looks like it could be bad again, but we will hope for the best for Cushing.

Cushing came into the game with 44 tackles, 1.5 sacks and an interception that he returned for a touchdown. He will be missed in the middle of the Texans defense if he is out for a significant amount of time.
