Brady Quinn Released By Jets, Has Work Out For Rams Tomorrow

The New York Jets have activated David Garrard onto the roster and in order to make room for him on the team they released veteran quarterback Brady Quinn. Quinn’s services are already in demand as he will have a workout with the St. Louis Rams tomorrow. The Rams are searching for any help at the quarterback position after Sam Bradford was lost for the year with a torn ACL.

The Rams are in need of someone who can handle the quarterback position. Kellen Clemens is the only quarterback on the roster right now, so the team needs to bring someone in. Clemens could compete for the starting job with the team, but the Rams are hurting in a big way.

Bradford was starting to play at a good level of late, but that injury is a big time set back. The team will also be bringing in Tyler Thigpen and others for a work out. Still no word on if they ask Tim Tebow to come out. I doubt that they bring him in.
