The Indianapolis Colts may have gotten a big win against the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night, but they lost a playmaker on the field during the game. WR Reggie Wayne has been lost for the year with a torn ACL.

Wayne injured his knee in the 4th quarter of the game against the Denver Broncos while he was lunging for a ball thrown by Andrew Luck and twisted his knee. When he went down, he immediately grabbed his knee in pan.

Andrew Luck took the blame for the injury after the game:

”It was my fault,” Luck said. “Terrible throw. We know he’s a fighter. We’re hoping for the best.” (CBS Sports)

Wayne has played in 189 straight games and that streak comes to a sad end this season. T.Y. Hilton will see more snaps with Wayne out. LaVon Brazill will also see more action as well. Let’s see if the Colts try to make another big time trade for a receiver now.
