Monday Night Football features a couple of the biggest disappointments in the league this season. The Minnesota Vikings are facing off against the New York Giants in New York. Both teams have a combined record of 1-10. Josh Freemnan will be making his debut with the Minnesota Vikings and he will be looking to stretch the field with his big arm and likely will do a lot of handing the ball off to Adrian Peterson. The Giants will be hoping that Brandon Jacobs can run like he did again and Eli Manning will be able to throw the ball to his own teammates.

Vikings Player to Watch: Josh Freeman

Josh Freeman is making his debut for the Minnesota Vikings and he will be looking to make some plays in the passing game to stretch the field and open pup the running game for Adrian Peterson. He will be working with a smaller playbook, but he will need to find a way to get some production out on the field. He has the playmakers to do it. Can he get them the football.

Giants Player to Watch: Eli Manning

Eli Manning has been struggling big time this season. He leads the league in interceptions and can’t get any protection from his offensive line. He hasn’t had a decent running game this year, except for the performance from Brandon Jacobs last week. That was Eli’s best performance as well. The Minnesota defense is terrible against the pass and Eli should have more time to get the ball out to Victor Cruz and the rest of his receivers.

The Giants have to win at some point… right? This would be as good an opportunity as any. They are facing off against a quarterback that is making his debut with his new team and still doesn’t know the whole playbook. This will be the time that the Giants get that first win.
