Remember that story awhile back when Elvis Dumervil and the Denver Broncos were trying to agree on a deal to keep the linebacker in Denver, but the signed paperwork did not get sent through on the fax machine, so the Broncos released him off of the roster? That player agent, Marty Magid, has been suspended by the NFLPA for 6 months and was fined $25k for his actions.

Did the fax machine get a suspension of any sort?

That is a big time suspension for a player’s agent. His failure to get that paperwork through resulted in Elvis getting cut and then Elvis deciding to sign with the Baltimore Ravens.

Now looking back, Elvis likely would want to be back with the 6-1 Denver Broncos over the Ravens.

That will teach Magid to start doing things electronically. Maybe he can start scanning things into his computer and emailing it out to teams.

That was a terrible mistake that could potentially hurt some players in the future. I think it was good that he was suspended.
