Browns WR Josh Gordon Trade Is “Not Probable”

A trade involving Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon is possible, but it is “not probable” according to a report from Pro Football Talk. Gordon has been mentioned in trades for over a month. ESPN reported that there were at least 3 teams that have contacted the Browns about Gordon and have made an offer for him that involved a player and a draft pick. There were no specifics mentioned on teams though.

Gordon has had his troubles off of the field and he is one more violation away from a year-long ban, but he has produced on the football field. He is the best receiver on the Cleveland Browns and he has helped the team’s offense with his presence on the field.

The trade deadline is at the end of the month. He will have to sit through all the rumors for at least one more week and then he doesn’t have to look over his shoulder about possibly packing his bags up to a new city.
