The Carolina Panthers head down to Tampa Bay to face the Buccaneers and are looking to keep Greg Schiano’s team winless. The Panthers have been playing well of late and are looking to get their 3rd straight win. They are looking to move over the .500 for the first time this season. The Bucs are just trying to get that first win on the board. They lost their starting running back, Doug Martin, for a while and they have a rookie quarterback, Mike Glennon, running the team. Things are not looking too pretty in Tampa.

Panthers Player to Watch: Cam Newton

The Panthers have been rolling behind the play of Cam Newton. He has turned things around and has the offense moving. He is looking to get the team over the .500 mark for the first time since 2008. Newton has passed for 1331 yards and 10 touchdowns this season. He makes the Panthers offense go.
Buccaneers Player to Watch: Darrelle Revis

Running out of players to watch for Tampa. It could have been Vincent Jackson, but this week I will roll with Darrelle Revis. I don’t know if the Buccaneers know how to capitalize on the skills of Revis. He has been used in a zone at times and Revis island has not had the impact that Tampa fans would have hoped for.

The Buccaneers have been a complete mess this season. This won’t be the game that they break out of that mess. The Panthers are on a roll and have figured out how to get good production again from Cam Newton. The Panthers will get over the .500 mark and the Buccaneers will have to look for that first win another week.
