Roddy White ruled out

If fantasy owners haven’t already benched Atlanta Falcons star WR Roddy White this week, then they had better quickly adjust their lineups accordingly. White hasn’t been able to practice all week, and the fact that he wasn’t able to practice today was the nail in the coffin for White’s Week 8 status. ESPN NFL Nation’s Vaughn McClure reports that Falcons head coach Mike Smith has unsurprisingly ruled out Roddy White for this week’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
It would have been a shock to see White out there battling through hamstring and ankle injuries, and the play of Harry Douglas last week probably made the Falcons decision to rule White out easier. White clearly doesn’t seem healthy enough to play this week, and it is going to be very important to have him 100% for next week’s game against a rising NFC South squad in the Carolina Panthers. White should be a full go for next week’s game against the Panthers, as it will have been almost month since White sustained his hamstring injury once the Falcons and Panthers square off in Week 9.
The Falcons are fully not expected to have Jason Snelling this week, as he did not practice this week either. However, that’s definitely not a big loss, because Steven Jackson will finally be back in the lineup after being out since Week 2 with a stubborn hamstring injury.
