Injury Report: C.J. Spiller Doubtful, Fred Jackson Probable

The Buffalo Bills have officially listed RB C.J. Spiller as doubtful on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. Spiller will be a game time decision, but the team likely should give him the day off to rest so that he can get a couple of good weeks off of that bad ankle. The Bills have the BYE week to look forward to after this game on Sunday and Spiller can target his return for the following week.

Spiller needs to rest that ankle. He isn’t performing to the level that everyone was expecting and with a busted ankle, he doesn’t have that explosiveness he needs. Even though he thinks that he is 10 times better than last week, he should take the day off and really get that ankle up to 100%.

Once he gets that ankle back to snuff, then  maybe we can see some of those big time runs again. For now, the Bills will have to roll with Fred Jackson getting a bulk of the carries. Same story for the Bills.
