The Miami Dolphins traded with the Baltimore Ravens to get LT Bryant McKinnie, but it still is not known if McKinnie will make his debut in the starting lineup this weekend against the New England Patriots. McKinnie has been working with Richie Incognito on the left side of the line during portions of practice.
If McKinnie were to jump into the starting lineup, Jonathan Martin would switch sides and would move over to right tackle and Tyson Clabo would take a nice seat on the bench, but Clabo has been lining up with the starters during drills.
Who knows what the Dolphins are going to do with that starting lineup on the offensive line. They made the trade, so they might as well get McKinnie in the mix even though he is over his target weight. He isn’t going to lose any weight sitting on the bench. Ryan Tannehill won’t get any protection on his back side if he is sitting on the bench either.
