Beanie Wells Tore His Achilles Working Out For Ravens

Running back Beanie Wells has a history of injury issues and it is one of the reasons that he does not have a job at the moment. He was working out for the Baltimore Ravens last week, trying to get a contract with the former Super Bowl Champs, and he went down with an Achilles tear.

He won’t be picking up a job any time soon with that injury. Tough break for the guy. He couldn’t even land a contract before he went down with an injury.

The guy just has had some bad luck with injuries. I don’t know when he will be able to land another contract with his type of luck.

Wells has been in the league for 4 seasons, all with the Arizona Cardinals, and showed some promise with them, but when he got his chance to start he struggled with injuries. He had one 1000+ yard season in 2011, but then he went down with an injury in the following year.

Hopefully he can recover and find another opportunity next year.
