Seattle Seahawks WR Sidney Rice is going to be out for the season after tearing his ACL in the game against the St. Louis Rams. The Seahawks had a poor performance on offense against the Rams on Monday night. They were hoping to get a boost on offense with Percy Harvin arriving, but his hip flared up on him and now Rice will have to sit on the sideline for the rest of the year with the ACL tear.

Rice had played in 8 games this season and had 35 receptions for 231 yards and 3 touchdowns. Rice went out to Switzerland during training camp to have his knee repaired. He has another knee injury to recover from this offseason.

This is going to be a big injury for a team that already has had some struggles on offense. The other receivers on the roster will need to step up and the fans will be anxious to see Percy Harvin back on the field and contributing on offense with the team.
