Buffalo Bills star running back Fred Jackson aggravated an MCL injury in Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins, but he returned to the field just a drive later. Jackson didn’t miss last week’s game against the New Orleans Saints, either, so I doubt he misses this week’s big game against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. One of the toughest players in the league, Jackson is always determined to play, and he added yet another touchdown run last week. Jackson now has six touchdown runs on the season, and he continues to be one of the best all-around backs in the league.

ESPN NFL Nation’s Mike Rodak reports that both Fred Jackson and Stevie Johnson are not practicing today for the Buffalo Bills, but both seem to be just getting some rest. Jackson missed last week’s practice on Wednesday, and he didn’t miss the Saints game. There is little doubt that he will play this week.

Stevie Johnson was expected to practice on a limited basis today, but the Bills have decided that there is no need to trot Johnson out there today. He definitely deserves the rest, as he suffered a hip flexor strain on Sunday. Johnson was able to haul in seven passes for 72 yards and an excellent TD catch in the loss, and there should also be little doubt that he plays this week.
