Jamaal Charles Not Practicing Because of Sore Knee

Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles is sitting out practice today because of a sore knee. Charles is a huge part of the Kansas City offense and is getting a lot of touches this season in Andy Reid’s offense. He is carrying a large load for the team and is a big reason why the team is undefeated. There is nobody else on the roster that can replace his production, so if he has a little bruise on his knee, the team has to give him some time to recover. Knile Davis is the backup to Charles and would be called into action if Charles is unable to play.

The time off from practice shouldn’t be a big issue though. He just needs a little bit of rest from all the work. He will likely be out on the field against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday to help the team protect their undefeated record.

Expect him to be on the field making plays on Sunday.
