The Carolina Panthers have been rolling and have a winning record for the first time in forever. The team will be looking to protect that winning record against the struggling Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons could get Roddy White back in this game, but the team has other issues that it needs to overcome.

Falcons Player to Watch: Matt Ryan

Matt Ryan doesn’t have all his weapons on offense available, but he still has been able to move the offense. Julio Jones is out for the year. Roddy White has missed a lot of time, but may be back this weekend. Tony Gonzalez has been one of the consistent weapons for him to use on offense. He has not been able to use Steven Jackson on offense much either, but Ryan has still been on the field to keep things competitive. The defense has not given him much help though.

Panthers Player To Watch: Cam Newton

Cam Newton has been impressive in the last few games for the Panthers. He has gotten the team rolling and will be looking to bring home another win. He has been a threat running the football and getting the rock out to his receivers. The team has looked like a contender the last few games. A lot of props have to go to Cam for bringing this team back to life.

Prediction:

These are two teams that are moving in opposite directions right now. The Panthers are climbing up the mountain, the Falcons are slipping deeper and deeper into a hole.  I don’t think the Falcons are catching the Panthers at the right time, so they will drop another game.
