It seems that Christian Ponder is the Minnesota Vikings starting quarterback all over again. He was already named the starter for Thursday’s game. He gives the Vikings the best chance to win as the other quarterbacks on the roster have looked terrible in their opportunities on the field.
The Vikings signed Josh Freeman to a contract and put him on the field once and he was lost. His footwork was a mess. His throws were all over the place. He just was not ready to turn around and hand Adrian Peterson the football.
Matt Cassel is another joke on the team, but he was good enough to get the team one win this season. Ponder didn’t get the Vikings a win this weekend, but he kept the game competitive. He passed for 236 yards and a touchdown. Adrian Peterson had a good game and helped keep the Vikings in it. Peterson ran for 140 yards and a touchdown. At least Ponder can hand that football off.
The Vikings will take on the Redskins on Thursday Night Football. Ponder will be looking to steal a win at home against them on Thursday.
