Both veteran players CB Nnamdi Asomugha and QB Matt Flynn went onto waivers yesterday and both went unclaimed and are free to talk to all teams now. I wonder if the Green Bay Packers would be interested in QB Matt Flynn after Aaron Rodgers going down. They brought up QB Scott Tolzien though from the practice squad, so I doubt that they would look toward Matt Flynn.

Somehow Matt Flynn seems to find jobs. Someone will give him a shot somewhere. Nobody can understand it, but he always seems to have a job. It just means good things for someone that is competing with him for the job.

Nnamdi Asomugha cleared through waivers, but someone has to want his services. They likely didn’t want to pay him the money that he was going to get from the 49ers though. Let’s see if he signs on with some team for something cheap in the next couple of days. He can try to be a little picky about where he wants to play now also. If he is looking for a contender, he can choose appropriately.

Talk to Nnamdi now. You have’t put Taylor on the field to help. They need some veteran help back there.
