The Buffalo Bills have been without their starting rookie QB EJ Manuel for a few weeks and were rolling with Thad Lewis at the starting position. Things got real shaky at one point and the team had to sign Matt Flynn as a possible backup on the roster. Last weekend, the Bills started rookie Jeff Tuel against the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs. It has been an injury plagued ride at the quarterback position for the Bills, but the starter has returned.
EJ Manuel will start this weekend against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers don’t have the historically strong defense that we all are used to seeing from them, so it could be a good game for Manuel to get back into action. The team just needs some consistency at the position. Changing quarterbacks over and over and over again because of injuries is tiresome and the team can’t get into a rhythm with the playcaller.
Manuel is back. Hopefully he can finish off the season strong and finish it with full health.
