There seems to be some good news out of Buffalo today. After being injured for more than a month, Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel has officially been cleared to play and is expected to start this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Manuel suffered a sprained LCL on October 3rd in a Thursday Night football game against the Cleveland Browns. Yesterday, Manuel returned to practice and was yet again a full participant in today’s practice.
“Barring any setbacks, both he and Thad are ready. Obviously EJ has taken the majority of snaps, so we’re planning on him going,” head coach Doug Marrone said Thursday.
Bills coach Doug Marrone says plan is for QB EJ Manuel to start Sunday vs. Steelers, barring setbacks.
