Remember when the Chicago Bears had a stringy defense? It wasn’t that long ago. Not players like Reggie Bush are looking forward to playing against the Bears defense.
Reggie Bush was asked if he was excited to face the Bears defense, in which he ran for 139 yards on in the first matchup of the year, and he responded with:
“Well, yeah,” Bush said, via the Detroit Free Press. “We have to be able to take advantage of obviously the holes that we see. Obviously they’re going to do their part this week at trying to plug up some of those holes. And it’s our job to try to exploit some of those. We feel like there is some room for us to take advantage of them in the run game. We just have to make sure we go in and play fundamentally sound.”
The Bears will be looking to do a little better job of stopping Bush this time around, but they will have to do it without Lance Briggs on their side.
