Cowboys LB Sean Lee Likely Out 3-4 Weeks with Hamstring Injury

The Cowboys are expected to be without their star linebacker Sean Lee for the next 3-4 weeks. Lee has been the team’s best player on defense, but he suffered a hamstring injury against the New Orleans Saints and will need some time to sit on the sideline and rest the injury.

With Sean Lee on the sideline, Kyle Bosworth is the next man up on the depth chart. The Dallas Cowboys defense has struggled this season and losing Lee is just going to make that slide even worse. Lee has been a glimmer of hope on the defense and now he will be warming up the bench.

The Cowboys have the New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers coming up on the schedule. They do get a BYE this weekend though and that BYE might be able to do wonders for Lee.

They are sitting with a 5-5 record and looking to hold onto their lead in the NFC East for that playoff spot. Have to hold on tight because the Philadelphia Eagles are making a push for that spot.

The cowboys need to draft Jackson Jeffcolt in next year’s draft (1st round)

I think Jeffcoat will be picked up too early for Dallas to get a shot at him, but if he falls that would be a good pickup.

Is there any word on Durants hamstring?? He played well in the middle after Lee went out, and I don’t know of any good Mikes sitting on the couch at this point in the season.
