Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson has not participated in practice the last couple of days and fantasy football owners are getting a little concerned about his availability for the weekend. Vikings fans also are concerned to know if he can’t play. With him sitting on the sideline for the last couple of practices, shouldn’t there be a little bit of concern.

The Vikings are saying that there should not be any reason to be concerned for his status on Sunday. The Vikings are going up against the tough defense of the Seattle Seahawks and would love to have the best back in the league on the field for the game. The Vikings are already shifting their offense at wide receiver. Jerome Simpson is going to be on the sideline to start the game and Cordarelle Patterson will be starting at wide receiver for the Vikings.

Peterson’s status will be something to watch for on Sunday. If he is on the sideline for the game, you might want to look into adding Toby Gerhart onto your roster.
